Dear Members,
Looking back on 2010, it was really a fantastic year for Nanjing NO1 Toastmaster club. See what we have done for the past year !
• Area speech contest was held successfully in Nanjing.
• Jenny/Tina became our second and third member to complete their CC.
• Another demo meeting was held in Phoenix books store to promote our club.
• Maintain a good membership growth and more team building activities were conducted.
What about 2011 ?
• Let the world knows. Continue to boost the Toastmaster culture in community.
• More CCs and CLs are expected in our club, together with membership growth.
• Build the network with clubs at other areas.

Do you need to improve your communication skills?

President’s Message 2010 – Building a Club That Lasts
Dear Members,
It has been an exciting year since Wenbin, William, Tina, Erik and I started talking about starting this club. We owe them all a huge thank you for their efforts.
We have had a wonderful year, we:
1) Chartered our club with over 20 members
2) Pascal became our first member to complete his CC
3) Tina is an AWESOME EVP
4) Rex won several speech contests
What will you do in the next year?
To sustain our club our theme for 2010 is Sustainability.
To achieve this we need to develop leaders to
a) help grow Toastmasters in Nanjing
b) run the club so existing members can focus on their goals
c) Compete to higher levels within Toastmasters
We appreciate your participation. Think about your future and join as an officer so we can do more for you and the club in 2010.

Over 20 years ago, the phrase “Have you ever heard of ToastMasters” was spoken to me by a colleague. That led me to visit a meeting, join the club and so much more.
ToastMaster and it’s members helped me become a more confident speaker. Through ToastMasters I have met so many people that I still communicate with today. With my fellow members I developed my business and marketing skills.
Sometimes I pondered what it would be like to start a club from the beginning. Never did I realize that I would get that chance, and in of all places, China. I can promise you that ToastMasters will help you get what you want, based on what you choose to go after.
