This summer NJ # 1 witnessed two members, Pascal and Jenny become Competent Communicators. How did they do it – with support from the other members.

Tina helped them focus on their goals and made sure that the meetings took place as scheduled and that we had Toastmasters for every meeting.

Wenbin gave evaluations and led table-topics so that they got to practice when they were not making a prepared speech.

Howie and Zhou Ke kept time so that they could learn how to finish on time.

It was a team effort and that is how our club in the future will win other awards.

This summer we had a lot of turnover for many reasons. We also gain new members such as Katie and Annie who are working hard to make the club better. New members are joining, and we need all our members to attend meetings so that they feel welcomed to our family and they can become confident about joining and helping others grow.

So please, come to our new location, take a role in our meeting, so we can work together and grow together.
